A Polar Bears Journey
Today Adam and I got to do some bonding as we went to the Ecotarium for "A Polar Bear's Journey". We did this last year, but Adam was able to enjoy it more this year. Santa made a surprise appearance after the reading of "The Polar Express", and although he didn't want to sit on his lap he whispered to me what he wanted for Christmas as we walked by Santa...."a Buzz toy".
Adam enjoyed the book reading:
And the hot coco afterwards:
We also were able to enjoy the exhibits at the Ecotarium too:
No worries, we haven't forgotten about Colin. He was home with daddy recouping from his first ear infection.

Six months and snow
Colin had his six month appointment today and weighted in at 21lbs & 14 ozs (97th %tile), and 27.75 inches long (88th %tile). Way to go big man! We had our first real snow storm this weekend and Adam was so excited waking up to a winter wonderland that he wanted to go outside right away to play in the snow. He ran to get his boots on and declared that he was ready..."I have my boots on mommy! I can play in the snow now!" I mentioned that he needed a bit more clothes on to play in snow...

Big man
Colin has decided that 5 months old is a good time to start sitting up on his own. Although Adam isn't as much of a fan of Colin now that he is more able to play with Adam's toys....he commented while I was taking these pictures that "we don't need that baby any more". Of course, he followed that up later in the day with smothering hugs and kisses for Colin, saying "I love you Colin".
Another funny comment by Adam: "Milk comes from Cows, and Cherrios come from pigs". Don't know which part of the pig he thinks they come from.....

last weekends baptism
So now that I am back at work, it seems like I am a bit slower with the uploading...free time is definitely more scarce now! So here is a picture from cousin Nicholas' baptism last weekend. Little did we know that Colin was trying to pick Nicholas' nose during the photo and poor Adam had the sun in his eyes.
