OUTSIDE!

Summer-like weather has us outside this weekend. A lot of it having to deal with getting the garden/yard ready (phew, we are pooped), but we did get some good play time in.

6 weeks until the due date....getting closer!

That's screwy!

Last night, while we were cleaning up the kitchen after dinner, Adam came running into the room announcing that he had just eaten a screw. Nobody saw him eat the screw so we were doubtful that he really did eat it...but come to find out he did! Check out the X-ray below. (It is in the lower intestines...getting ready to make it's re-appearance). We got to spend a good part of the afternoon waiting in the ER to get him checked out (a big thanks to Grandpa for joining us as I couldn't be in the Xray room with Adam). He is fine and the screw will find it's way out in the next day or so.

For the math teacher in the family...

Of course every kid should have his own set of pentominoes, right? At least if you have a Math teacher in the family you would. And Adam has my old set. Here he is putting them together.

And Matt had to out do us all by solving it the next day. Yeah Matt!
