Day Care Christmas party

Day Care had their Christmas party on the 23rd and Santa stopped by for a visit and read "The Night before Christmas".

Colin was very curious about Santa...
and Adam didn't really want to have anything to do with the guy.
Adam put on a performance for us too!

...and yes, that is Adam deciding that during the song he wanted to go and grab someone else's bag of candy (what better time? Everyone else was busy singing).

A Bailey Christmas party

Last Sunday we went to Aunt Carla's house for the annual Bailey Christmas party.

And of course Adam and Jakob had fun wrestling...

Thanks Aunt Carla!

A Polar Bears Journey

Today Adam and I got to do some bonding as we went to the Ecotarium for "A Polar Bear's Journey". We did this last year, but Adam was able to enjoy it more this year. Santa made a surprise appearance after the reading of "The Polar Express", and although he didn't want to sit on his lap he whispered to me what he wanted for Christmas as we walked by Santa...."a Buzz toy".

Adam enjoyed the book reading:

And the hot coco afterwards:

We also were able to enjoy the exhibits at the Ecotarium too:

No worries, we haven't forgotten about Colin. He was home with daddy recouping from his first ear infection.

Six months and snow

Colin had his six month appointment today and weighted in at 21lbs & 14 ozs (97th %tile), and 27.75 inches long (88th %tile). Way to go big man! We had our first real snow storm this weekend and Adam was so excited waking up to a winter wonderland that he wanted to go outside right away to play in the snow. He ran to get his boots on and declared that he was ready..."I have my boots on mommy! I can play in the snow now!" I mentioned that he needed a bit more clothes on to play in snow...
